Profile: Etobicoke

Profile: Etobicoke

Diverse Etobicoke is a primarily residential district in western Ontario. You’ll notice plenty of green space here, thanks to the area’s vast parklands. Several of the neighborhoods here date from the 19th century, including Clairville. Homes here run the gamut from modest to mansion, with middle-class districts in between.

Some of Ontario’s most historic sites are here, including the 19th-century Georgian-designed Mercer Farm and St. Matthias Anglican Church. Bustling Centennial Park is packed with activities, including playgrounds, sports areas, a wading pool, and picnic space—perfect for finishing off a day of sightseeing.

The worst experience in my life

No shuttle service to the airport "argue COVID-19". I was at the Person Airport level S waiting for 30 minutes and noticed that all hotels suttle service was arriving including Sheraton-Hilton-Hampton-Marriot etc, but not mine one. Called and they didn't provide the service because of COVID-19. I have to pay 28 dollars extra to arrive at the hotel. What a poor and terrible service!

I stayed at this hotel for a week while I was working in Toronto. After 5 days, I was told my truck would be towed because it was in their lot, and has not moved in a week. I was called a liar and they did not care that I was paying to stay at their hotel. After my company called to clarify and stated they would no longer stay at this facility they began to apologize and say it was a misunderstanding.

SAVE YOUR $. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR GUESTS

Worst costumer service I’ve ever had at a hotel. I’ve literally never been treated so poorly before. I worked at a hotel for 5 years I have some idea of what can and can’t be done for guests and you can really tell the owner of this place is just out to squeeze as much money as possible out of you with unnecessary extra fees. I had asked to speak to whoever was in charge and instead of approaching the situation nicely, trying to understand how much stress his employee had caused us the owner immediately began arguing with me. I’m a small 5’2 woman and this man was VERY aggressive and RUDE, I was left in tears with how horribly I was treated. I had originally told them I would speak to them during check out and front desk called me all of FIVE times throughout my stay basically harassing me and hounding me telling me I had to pay the fee. (I booked my two night separately accidentally, and so they wanted me to pay an early checking fee of 50$ +tax instead of simply combining them or waving the fee seeing as I WAS spending the two nights consecutively) it’s such a frivolous charge, and to be treated THAT badly simply because I was trying to reason with them? Ridiculous. Only booked here because it was close to where I was visiting, next time I’m sticking with a hotel I know. So many bad reviews on service as well, clearly shows they don’t care about their guests. LOTS of prostitution going on here as well - we saw many cars park outside for a few hours and leave/not come back

    Dirty Hotel

Hotel was advertised as having a shuttle, but shuttle was unavailable due to covid. Had to pay for a uber to and from hotel. defeated the purpose of getting a hotel with a shuttle. Hotel didnt even reimburse for the Uber. Hot impressed. Will never stay here again Plus hotel was dirty, dated, and not around anywhere.
