Good budget offer if you get the right price
Stayed for 4 nights. Reserved a parking space but a bit of a faff getting into the secure compound. It looks like the keypads/buzzer to reception doesn't work, so a few phone calls to get in the gate then get in the door. Staff were really friendly, efficient and helpful at all times. I was in an old room. The new bathroom was nice and the shower excellent but the walls are thin, the windows don't really block out much noise and the mattress wasn't up to much. Great location though, I walked all over the town from the hotel - I wouldn't recommend driving or getting cabs as the traffic can be a nightmare! The Parnell Luas stop is a short walk away and that was excellent for longer journeys out to the suburbs. Dublin is incredibly expensive for hotels rooms at the moment, there appears to be a desperate lack of capacity which is putting prices up. If Cassidy's was priced more sensibly at around E100-E120 then I'd say it was good value. Unfortunately, I just paid that little bit too much given a distinct lack of other options.

Perfect stay in the heart of Dublin
Excellent from check-in to check-out. Room was clean & comfortable with great standard of bedding & super toiletries. Added bonus of on site car parking which was cheaper than any public parking we saw. The location is amazing; just at the end of O'Connell Street, so just a few minutes from all major sights. Loved our stay & can't wait to stay again. Thank you for a marvellous break.

They urgently need to address the issue of parking. Walking a kilometre to get your car and adding further costs to the trip is not ideal. My husband and I both had mobility issues and it was most inconvenient

Weekend getaway.
First time in Dublin so didn't know what to expect. The location is great; close to the city centre and about 10-15 minutes walking distance from most major attractions. Hotel itself is okay. Had a family room, shared between 3 friends. Beds were comfortable enough, but the design of the hotel was weird...and not very accessible for those who require assistance, although I've heard that is common with hotels in Dublin. Room was located in the Parnell Wing, which was maybe 5 minutes walking from reception, so be prepared to walk a bit. Room was decent, bathroom needs some renovations though. Toilet took 5 flushes on average to work properly, shower had a very little "lip" so we had to use towels around the sides of the shower to keep the bathroom floor dry. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Old fashioned hotel with good service
Hotel is in a good location at the top of O'Connel street and has an old fashioned feel when you walk in which is good. Service was great, able to store our bags as we were early for check in (they also stored when we checked out as flight wasnt till late). Room was ok nothing flashy, but let down by a really old bathroom that needed an update. We were on the 4th floor and we knew people on other floors that had a brand new bathroom so they must be in the middle of getting done. We didn't eat in the hotel but the bar area was good
