The hotel is very conveniently located. However, the cleanliness of the corridors and room was poor. The staff lack proper training and in general the service quality was disappointing.

This hotel has the possibility to be wonderful but lacks so many important touches. Arrived at 1 pm we were told that our room was available but as check in was from 3pm we would have to pay €30 if we wanted it immediately. Of course we didn’t pay and left our luggage with reception. The room, a superior was really nice and the beds are fantastic! The bathroom is old style and hasn’t been updated to match the room but still good. Unfortunately our room was an adjoining room. Our “ neighbors” smoked joints and the smell completely filled our room. We decided to knock and inform them rather than report them to reception ( a €200 fee for smoking in the room). They also came back at 2 am and face timed loudly for 40 minutes before we knocked again. I would strongly advise insisting on not having an adjoining room unless you are all from the same group. The pool area is ok but a little tired.The gym is good and quite large for a hotel. We were given a voucher for 15%off at the bar or restaurant so after a night out we decided to have a drink at the bar. We also wanted to order food but it wasn’t possible. We were told the voucher was only off drink when purchased with food. This was not what the voucher stated but anyway it was more about the tone of voice from the staff that was annoying. Breakfast was fantastic and the staff there really attentive. A lot of the floors are wooden but where there is carpet it is very obvious that it is not hoovered on a daily basis. Overall OK.

Great location and great view-if you get the side facing the train station, which we did! If possible maybe try to request a room facing the train station, it definitely makes waking up in the morning feel nicer..
