A good budget hotel
A great little pub/hotel with a nice clean room, and a nice clean shared bathroom. Simple and economic overnighter with welcoming staff. The pub is friendly and some good pub grub is on offer. If I find myself solo travelling in this area again I will definately stay here again

family trip to Liverpool
Group of five who only really needed somewhere to sleep for a couple of nights as we were attending events in the city Centre. Very affordable! Room was ok but super hot - the radiator was broken and no way of turning it off so it was on all the time. With five people sharing a room as well it was difficult to get a good nights sleep. The bar downstairs is lovely but you can’t sit and have a conversation as the music is insanely loud. I love good music and a sing a long but when it’s piercing your ears cause the speakers are old and you can’t even hear what the person next to you is saying it’s a bit much. We were aware that it was going to be noisy in regards to sleeping so had prepared for that with earplugs and I didn’t mind that as there was a clear statement about that when booking but we would’ve definitely spent a lot more time downstairs if it wasn’t for the music. Staff is accommodating and super lovely and overall we were pleased with the stay for what we were doing that weekend.
