Unforgettable stay!
We had the most amazing stay at Danae Suites, besides the hotel being brand new, very comfortable and beautiful, definitely the best part of this hotel is the staff. The entire staff is phenomenal, they went out of their way to make sure we had an amazing experience at Danae. Truly unforgettable everything they did for as as we were in our honeymoon. Can’t wait to go back!! Congratulations and thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Absolutely wonderful stay here. It’s a new hotel and the rooms were spotless and huge. The grounds are so well kept up. The breakfast included in our package was great. The location was perfect. It’s out of the touristy area of Oia but still walking distance (15-20 min depending on how you do hills). In the quaint town of Finika you can find great restaurants just a short walk from the hotel. Pavlos (hope the spelling in correct) was excellent and always available if needed to make sure everything was ok. Would highly recommend this hotel

Our stay at Danae Suites was absolutely incredible. Honestly, the photos do not do this property justice! Everything was top notch, from the property itself to the service to the amenities and views. Pavlos, the manager, was hands down one of the best… he went above and beyond for us to make our stay special and effortless. This place is truly a hidden gem and super relaxing and quiet. I would definitely stay here again and plan to when we return to Santorini. Super close to everything, and you won’t regret it. The in-suite jacuzzi was another major plus, and the amazing shower. Thank you so much, Pavlos and team!

Expecting a late check-in, we emailed the hotel a couple of days before and they were quick to arrange an efficient private airport transfer. Upon arrival at the hotel, the first thing we noticed was a man sweeping what looked like an already immaculate lobby floor. He introduced himself as the manager. While some might find this detail trivial or funny, it was actually the opposite: A manager who voluntarily sweeps a clean, luxury hotel floor at 10 pm is a perfect example of the level of dedication and attention to detail that trickles down to the entire staff. Danae Suites is a beautiful small resort perched on a sun-drenched Santorini Hill, away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist areas. Throughout our stay, the staff was friendly, professional, and reactive to our every request for help, notably with renting a car that was delivered to the hotel and changed the next day when we mentioned it didn't fit our needs. The front desk has a WhatsApp number you can text at any time, which proved particularly useful when outside of wi-fi zones on the island. The breakfast buffet was ample and delicious, thanks to Maria, a lovely, dedicated chef. The rooms are beautifully designed and we were lucky to receive a free upgrade to ours. If we were to nit-pick, the only downsides are the super tight paved road that provides the only access (any car bigger than a compact would not fit) and the fact that the private pools aren't heated. Other than that, our stay was perfect!!

We had the best time at Danae Suites! Our room was absolutely beautiful and we loved having a private jacuzzi outside our room. The pool area is absolutely stunning and has the most amazing view of the ocean! Breakfast each morning was delicious. Everyone took such good care of us— we appreciate all the staff did for us! I also loved the location and the cute village that the suites were located in.

Location is king in Santorini and Danae Suites doesn't have it. Santorini prices without the Santorini experience. It's a long walk back up the hill to the main road for the Caldera view and 2km from Oia sunset view. Even with a car there's a very narrow path for the last 500m to the property. Taxis won't go there because it's too narrow and dump you in a car park a 10 min walk away; you end up dragging suitcases down narrow cobbled lanes. There is one transport company they can arrange but that's 60 euro. Breakfast is pretty good. Staff are very nice. Didn't do dinner. We walked back up the narrow paths (dark at night) to places like Meze Meze, Mes Amis and Lefkes for dinner. Bar prices by pool are very expensive. The hotel itself is very nice and has a good view of the sea down the hill to the north. Even when they complete a decent north-side road to the property you can't get away from the walk back up the hill to the main road and caldera. For the prices it's all just too inconvenient. Unless of course you want to get away from it all. But in that case why go to Santorini?

Hotel was beautiful and staff were amazing. It’s a 20 minute walk to Oia but a perfect getaway from the hectic and crowded town. It was so nice to come back and relax by the pool. Pavlos was amazing. He arranged all of our transport and was available at all time to answer our questions or help with anything in the room. He would always go above and beyond! All the staff were incredibly friendly and nice. The rooms were big and always clean. The infinity pool was amazing and great to relax. So glad we stayed here!
