Overall great.
Great overall service. Stay was a two day post cruise event. Staff was excellent and the location was exactly what we needed. The lobby area and bar were quite accessible. The room cleanliness was a little off and the towels were a little small/thin but overall a great stay.

Great place to stay!
Banks hotel is excellent, especially for a couple in their 40s+ looking for a nice spot to stay in Amsterdam that feels a bit removed from the busy city action and clubs. The room was very comfy, the staff was nice, breakfast in the morning was great, and best of all the self-serve bar area was super cool to hand out at after a long day and unwind. Would absolutely stay there again!!

Great Stay
Was very pleased with all the service, free, mini bar, happy hour every evening with cheese and other bites, open cocktail bar self-service in the lobby. I thought it was a Charming Hotel the service was great and good location if you want a big bed you might book the suite the rooms have two almost twin beds or they put them together. Air Conditioning worked well.

A great experience!
This was a great experience for us. The hotel is centrally located in Amsterdam and is alongside one of the many canals that are throughout Amsterdam. They provided breakfast, spirits, wine, sodas, water and snacks every day which is something that you don't see in the larger, chain type hotels. The staff were very helpful and went out of their way to assure our happiness and satisfaction. If we go back to Amsterdam in the future, we agreed that we would stay at the Banks Mansion again. I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great place to stay in Amsterdam!

Overall good hotel
Hotel was in a great location. Inclusion of breakfast and open bar and afternoon gatherings were a plus. We had booked the master suite and it was comfortable and clean, however the furniture and carpets are a bit outdated and it would benefit from an upgrade. The staff were friendly and helpful with exception of one which was very harsh toward our Dutch family who entered the hotel to meet us and pick us up to go out. Borderline rude. Staff are too casual and could benefit from a bit of professionalism.
