The single standard room given to me room 101 was the size of one child's bed. I was falling off the bed. There was absolutely no space to move in the room. I then paid to upgrade to a double room. They then gave me room 103 which was over the main entrance where I had to listen to the automatic doors open and shut all night long. The slamming shut of other room doors made the room shake. There were four rooms in a 6sq ft area. There were three steps to get to the room with luggage. 8" in front of the toilet was a beset. I had to sit on an angle to use the toilet. The noise from the flush and water pipes in the hotel sounds like the water is gushing into the room. There is a smell of sewage throughout the room. Being a person of colour and being given the worst rooms and reading rave reviews from white guests I can certainly say this hotel is extremely racist. Don't stay there if you're not white. At $100 a night find another hotel. Catalonia is awful.
