I have stayed at this hotel more than once. Most recently, I wasn’t pleased with the location of the hotel room and requested to have a corner room. I spoke with Oliver that night who said there was a possibility to move if we stay another night for the same rate we booked. We called that morning to confirm we will stay another night. We were told we couldn’t get the corner room as promised AND we couldn’t even stay in our room unless we paid double the rate we paid for one night. It was my husband’s birthday and we didn’t want to complain too much. I have to say the room was not as clean as it could be and there was socket cover missing. The hotel won’t be my first choice AT ALL.
Lets start out with the fact that there was no heat at all. We went to Florida spent several days there and at night it would reach 47degree or 50degree, with winds it felt colder. We called the front desk they notified us that there was no heat or portable heaters. When I asked for a blanket I was told I could only get one because there wasn't anymore. The sheets we slept on were inside out we just assume they were dirty . In total the fact that there wasn't free parking at it was 40 dollars a night. I returned the car rental for the rest of our stay and they still charged me even tho they were notified. Over all the front desk staff would Never answer the phone, no heat, shortage of blankets, and parking issue I wouldn't recommend this place or ever be back. I expected more ,
The hotel itself looked run down, and was in front of a business, that had a lot of large trash bins. Also their was no hot water at all,and when I told the front besk, they did nothing about it. Also the rum, could have been cleaner, for the price.
Great time, beautiful weather. Hotel was jus ok. Staff was nice. During Covid had no room clean and we were there 5 nights. Toilet ran, no hot water at times, walls super thin. Had an adjoining room and could hear every word that was said. Loud group of men. Hotel staff did try and help. Pool was not inviting ya all. Great location and had ocean view. Well worth it for the view.
People should realize that u have to pay to park. No other option but valet. This adds an extra $40 to bill each day. Can't believe parking isn't free while staying at hotel.
I was charged $39 per night for valet parking and was not told about this in advance. I tried to contact the account manager multiple time and never received a call back. The restaurants were closed. We had to go to the front desk and stand in line with manyother people just to get towels for the pool. There was no daily service of the room so we had to ask room towels. I do NOT recommend this hotel.
Property location is great. Facilities seemed to be adequate. There was no hot tub/jacuzzi on site (maybe because of Covid restrictions?). The pool was open. Our room was nice, but during our stay, we encountered TWO major leaks in the ceiling of the bathroom that flooded out into the hallway. Maintenance took a LONG time to come in and although they did end up fixing it, Housekeeping NEVER came to clean up the mess and NEVER resupplied towels or otherwise. We were very disappointed (we asked several times)
We had a great experience the entire time! Very friendly staff and amazing location!! Will stay here again for sure!
site says 4 restaurants. cafe only for a couple hours in am. A starbucks that did not even have coffee when i ordered. took 15 minutes to get 2 cups of black coffee. Room AC never really cooled the room down. For $500 a night plus $35 a day resort fee for a dirty pool and another $39 for valet....very disappointing. The boat show ended at 7...Bubba Gump restaurant out front closed at 8 so we could not get in. Best part of stay was interaction with the valet staff...very friendly guys
Hotel was very clean and staff was friendly and professionaL. Only issue was with the breakfast bar area not sufficiently staffed and ready to accommodate the am rush hour. Covid of course was factored in, but the hotel management could have been better ready for the Boat show Crowd at that point.
