Exceptional 10.0
Very nice hotel, not too fancy, just right for me. I had everything that I needed, good sleep, good shower and plenty of storage.

Very disappointing
Very disappointing based on photos and reviews. I have stayed in a lot of boutique type hotels including a tent in the desert with an outdoor potty and shower and this is by far the worst. I’m all for keeping the cool, original warehouse look, but it still needs to function as a comfortable hotel. Wood floors were pretty but they were creaky and I’m sure the downstairs neighbors could hear every foot step because we could hear all of the foot steps of the people above us. We could also hear everyone on all sides of us and that includes walking, tv, water and their alarm. If someone takes a shower in any of the rooms around you be prepared to hear rushing water the whole time. The bathroom was super tiny and there was no privacy since the door was half glass and provided no acoustical privacy either. The bathroom was also very dirty. The floor and shower looked like they were barely cleaned since there was caked on dirt and grime and what looked like black mold outside the shower. The bed sheets felt like somewhere between cheap toilet paper and sandpaper, the first night I slept in the bed with my clothes on. They were so uncomfortable they made us itchy and would crinkle when we moved. The first night was so bad I was contemplating moving for the second night but we stayed but I would never stay there again. Management’s cursory answer to any complaint was to provide a token to get a free coffee, which I guess is appropriate since you won’t get much good sleep.

Poor 2.0
Awful customer service from valet, front desk, baristas, and bar tenders. Friendly house keeping but then realized after only being checked in for 4-5 hours someone went in our room and replaced towels. We had not requested for new towels. Very strange. The hotel manager said she would look in to this and email me by the end of the business day. 24 hours later no email. Thankfully our valuables were locked in the safe.

Hip hotel with ok service
Really cute and hip hotel. I loved the decor of the lobby and rooms. The service were a little lacking though. The first front desk person I spoke with let me pre-register since we arrived early and said they would call me once my room became available. He confirmed the number I had on file. He was very friendly and helpful. I kept my phone's volume on high so I wouldn't miss the call, never got one. I didn't go back to the hotel until after 4pm (when the original checkout time was), a new front desk person was there and said they called and I said I didn't get a call from them. Then he goes oh we didn't have a number on file (which disregards his first comment). I explained the other guy confirmed my number before I left and then he just ignored the situation and just gave me my key to my room.
