7 night stay
Best value on the beach. Had everything we wanted. 2 pools, 1 was heated, hot tub. 1 small restaurant on site(with bar), but several great restaurants less than a mile away. Chairs provided on the beach, which is just out the back door of the motel. Don't expect a resort type room, but they are nice and very clean. Deb was a very helpful/friendly staff. Towels, coffee pouches, etc was brought to the room minutes after request. We will be back here in a year and won't even look into a different motel, it was perfect for us.

Overall it was a nice stay, however there was an issue at check in, where we didn’t like what we saw...critter in the bedroom, bed mattresses sunk in, curtain detached from rod assembly and hanging from corner, smoke detector missing, and the TV didn’t work at all. We went downstairs and the staff was very accommodating and moved us to a new room of the same value and all was well.

The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The service was great. The design of the room is not so good. Very small kitchen; only one person at a time and the refrigerator door would not open all the way because it kept hitting the countertop. Very small bathroom; only one person at a time could fit.

So many smokers.. and fix your AC
We've stayed here before without issue, but this time it seemed like half the people there smoked in a non smoking facility. I understand there's a plant that smells like weed there, but you can clearly smell the difference between that and smoked weed. Also, it seems like the main building has issues with only being heat or AC for the whole building. It was over 70 degrees and sunny out, but the hotel opted to keep the heat on. The only way to cool the room was open the balcony and front doors to create a cross breeze.... Which would have worked great if people weren't constantly smoking (both legal and illegal substances). The lady at the front desk said she would see about getting a box fan sent up to us, but we never saw that either. Overall a pretty lousy hotel experience.

The stay was great but the timing was bad. 46 degrees with 18mph wind is like 32 degrees--cold. but we did walk along the beach and turned the heater on in the room and slept very well.

Check in was quick and easy. Room was clean, though the kitchen was quit small and had very few cooking skillets and pans. Checking out was Great. View was great too along with the heated pool.
