A little disappointing

Hotel was ideally placed and looked good at time of booking. Iron, and ironing board provided plus hair dryer and a one cup Keurig coffee machine. We were all disappointed with the lack of storage space, i.e. drawers in the room. There were none though plenty of room for them under the big TV. They provide 4 shelves in the closet, one taken up with a spare pillow) but this was barely enough for two of us and ALL clothes that couldn't be hung were lumped together on the shelf. Bedside tables way too small to be practical. Shower pressure awful...perhaps they are trying to save water but it makes hair washing difficult. Room cleaning is provided on the 4th day of your stay so our garbage bins were pretty overflowing...could have bagged and disposed of but not top of mind while we were away. Plus they don't provide enough sugar/milk etc to last the 4 days between service. You can call for more but why not provide enough in the first place? It's a nice building but painted all in battleship gray, corridors, rooms, pretty much everything...which is a little oppressive. Some cheerful color would be nice. Staff were friendly...special thanks to Angela on our morning coffee run to the hotel restaurant. Very friendly and helpful. Overall, it was OK. I would probably look at other options if visiting Boston again.
