I had the unfortunate situation when my Land Cruiser broke down in the challenging roads in Madagascar. I called Expedia but they were not much help. Expedia told the only way they could cancel was for them to contact the hotel. Knowing the challenges with calls in Madagascar, I told Expedia I would call myself as I am here in the country. Sandra answered right away and after I explained my situation told me she would consult with Oliver, the property manager the next day as it was almost 10 pm. All this was done 3 days before I was to arrived to the hotel with family and friends. The next morning I spoke with Sandra and she told me that Oliver approved my cancellation and she sent me a text to confirm our conversation. I submitted the screenshot of the text to Expedia. Expedia has tried to contact the hotel a few times with no success. I’m hopeful Sandra will read this review and contact Expedia to confirm they approved my cancellation. T h a n k s !!
