The VF Hotel was highly over priced and over rated.The carpets needed to be replaced and the bathroom tiles are old with screws holding some of them together. The towels are low quality thin and old. The air conditioner works but very loud, had to shut it off while sleeping. The breakfast buffet was average but the terrace café was good. There were no small tables to set your drinks down at the pool. Would only give a 4 star because of the location.

Fantastic historic property overlooking Zambezi bridge. Enjoyed Afternoon tea on the veranda. Loved the piano player in lobby. The hotel is super elegant. The rooms are comfortable. The included breakfast at the Jungle Junction included champagne.
