Bedbug situation; unresponsive management
I stayed in 706 and was able to check in early around 1 pm. It was a good room with nice pillows/sheets/bed, and showers were very hot with good pressure. No water bottles - everything paid in the mini-bar. Unfortunately I woke up with bites on my leg. By the end of the day there were major bites all over one leg which my doctor in Dubai said are likely bedbugs. I notified the hotel with an email immediately and have received zero response so I don't know if they ignore the information and pretend the situation doesn't exist, or they have failed to communicate back. Either way, bedbugs are a huge nuisance to deal with - disinfecting luggage outside, sending clothes to dry cleaners and extreme temperature treatment of everything else - and if a hotel doesn't take them seriously I will advise people to avoid the property and company completely.
