It is what it is
Stayed here a few times , its cheap and cheerful. Not keen on the shared bathroom and toilets but what do you expect for the price . Its a place to put your head down after a night out . Would i stay for more than 1 night ... probably not . Would i book this type of place if i was booking for me and the missus.... definitely not . Its a cheap place , cheap furniture. Would i book for a couple of lads to go drinking with ... 100%

Love this Homely Old place
A great stay for a stop over , felt very homely and like stepping back in time. I have spent many hours in past at this pub ,though never stayed , made me smile that thx pine furniture was exactly the same as my Mums ( possibly from Bringy Pine In Baddow ) from the 80/90s , it’s great to see the place thrived and is busy .

Avoid shared bathroom rooms if you can
The room was nice a bit outdated. There were No electrical plug sockets near the bed to charge phones which wa annoying. The shared bathroom was absolutely disgusting. Flush didn’t work properly, and although not the staffs fault, but other guests staying there should really be mindful of other people using the toilets after them.

It's a room above a pub. Functional but well presented. Stayed on Saturday night but no excess noise. Would stay again.

8/10 Very good

We had a couple of people try and get into our room which felt abit scary but it didn’t seem anything sinister, just people who were confused. The music was quite loud until 11:15pm one evening but the other nights absolutely fine. Beds and pillows very comfy, could do with a replacement TV remote as it didn’t work very well. A kettle and coffee machine was a very nice addition
