Such a disappointment
When we arrived, I went in solo due to COVID-19. When I stepped inside, I was not greeted and all areas near the front desk to check in were taped off with caution tape. I was not asked to provide my ID and there were minor issues with the card reader. I seemed to be more of a bother to the lady who checked me in by asking questions to confirm I understood that I would have to enter on the side of the building or in the back of the building (no directions provided). We were not able to unload in the front as the area was blocked off to normal foot traffic. Not realizing the back entrance was the best option, we entered through the side which such a pain because it’s a small sidewalk. I had to go in and grab the rolling cart so that we could load up all of our luggage. Then after loading and heading inside, we got to the elevators (I had to locate because minimal instructions were provided). We got into our room and there were stains everywhere on the floor and on the couch. During the night, we heard several neighbors who seemed to have conversations right outside our door. The woman that I checked out with was very pleasant and completely opposite from the lady that checked me in. However, because of the dirty carpets and furniture, I will not stay here again. I definitely expected better because of the name Hyatt.

The front desk chelsea was very attentive and sweet she was awesome! My issue was it was a 5 of us we only had 1 small bar of soap to use they had no extra bars of soap. Then one of my beds smelled like sour milk housekeeping put the pillows over the smell to mask it. I only smelled it because my daughter moved the pillows it was horrible. I just feel what i paid for the room i didn't get my money worth and i won't every stay there again!

I work in BR but live an hour and a half away. I often work overnights and when I do, I always stay at this hotel. They are like family and pre Covid I would hug the woman at check in when I arrived. I feel safe and welcomed there. I got off my overnight and went straight to the hotel after being up for over 24 hours to check in. The door was locked to get in so an associate greeted me at the door. I told her I was there to check in and she explained I could not check in early. I told her i had no where to go until 3pm and I asked if I could sit in the lobby. She said no I could not. I asked if I could pay extra to check in early and she said no. I asked if she could call me if a room opened up to allow me to check in early, she said no. She would not be calling me early that I could come back at check in. I explained once again I had no where to go and I would be sitting in my car in the parking lot for 5 hours, of course she didn’t care. I Understand it is not the hotels fault that I work a crazy schedule or that I had no where to go for So many hours. I understand each guest at the hotel is treated equally and what makes me special to ask for early check in since I stay there so often. I work customer service as well and I am understanding to this. But to not offer any other option or any kind of accommodation is not right either. So I went down the street, paid for another room and got in immediately. Not that it matters but I will never stay at this hotel again!!!

MUST READ BEFORE YOU BOOK!
We stay in hotels weekly around the country, and have never had such a terrible experience. Sure, there are always things you notice or would like to see better, but nothing worth writing about. This is our exception, and we cancelled our stay after one night of a week-long booking! Issues: coolers and tools stolen from our truck in the parking lot, room keys that don't work, room flooded with water, but the front desk service was the most disrespectful, argumentative, and rude that we've ever received anywhere. This is not what you want to encounter after a long day of work.
