The room wasn’t completely clean. There was large crumbs left on the floor from the previous occupant. The bathroom had no vent system which caused a lot of water damage to the surrounding walls and made it look old and dirty.

Nice for a weekend stay at Mammoth Mountain. Close to the hills for skiing and nice lobby lodge feel.

I wish they would’ve notify us...
3 weeks ago,we planned a trip to go to Yosemite then Mammoth Lakes. So we booked Sierra Nevada Resort for our night stay. After our long day in Yosemite, we were ready to go to our hotel which will probably takes us about less than an hour or so. GPS says it will take us 6.5 hours to get there.. We tried going to hwy 120 and found the sign that road was closed. Having no signal in Yosemite,we couldn’t contact the hotel so we just decided to go back home and drive 3.5 hours. Once we got the signal, we contacted the hotel via and ask to cancel the stay since we were not notified about road closures. Sierra Nevada Resort did not cancel our stay and we paid full price and went home tired from driving 3.5 hrs. Luckily gave us a $125 coupon. I wish Sierra Nevada Resort could’ve notify us about road closures or cancel our night stay because of the situation.

Great Hotel - Rude Front Desk
Hotel and room were excellent, the room was cosy with a fireplace and he supply of soft robes was a nice touch. Bathroom was great with deep bath and rain shower. The gentleman who checked us in and out was bordering on offensively rude with a bad attitude problem. When my wife ask him a question about checking out he didn’t even dignify a response, ignored her and stared at a computer. All other staff were very pleasant but this one guy soured the whole experience. Great hotel, with one terrible member of staff.
