Don’t know if I’d choose this hotel again.
The first room we were given had some issues. The heater made a tremendous amount of noise and we could actually hear the man next door snoring. The toilet overflowed several times but in fairness we didn’t report it until day. They didn’t have an engineer on site so we had to move rooms and they gave us a $25 credit which in my opinion was not really much. Just a few other minor issues not worth explaining.

Wait until the pandemic is over
It was New Year's Eve, so I'm not blaming all the issues on them, but they're covid measures were lax. There were children and adults running everywhere without masks, pizza parties in the pool area, and loud gatherings in single rooms. It was noisy and chaotic. We were quarantined in our room, but I wouldn't recommend this hotel while the pandemic continues.

Looks can be deceiving
Hotel looked good checking in. Once we got into the room it was so cold. Turned the heat up and it would not warm up. Had to keep the heat at 77 to keep the room warm. Found a dirty ladle under the desk and a dirty sock under the bed.

We live 1 hour away, so no need to spend the night, but we always enjoy staying at the Hilton Mystic so much that it is a part of the fun. Not just a place to sleep. The people are always super helpful. They play kids movies on the indoor swimming pool in the evening. My 7 year old loves it. This time in particular, the pool was closed for repairs (something broke on the last storm), but they took it upon themselves to set up a conference room with pillows on the floor and popcorn to show a movie for my kid who was disappointed. We did not complain or made a fuss about the pool, they took it upo0n themselves to do something nice. That is the type of place it is. AWESOME.
