The hotel is very grand and chic. The pool is amazing and restaurants around are good. What was disappointing is the food variations in the menu and beverages as well. We had dinner at Buddha bar on the rooftop, the restaurant did not have the expected variations that you usually see in any W hotel. The beverages also lacked the variations for eg we could not have a patron tequila due to unavailability. They only had one type only! At the pool we wanted to have a regular club sandwich but instead they had a salmon club which was surprisingly odd. As they could not modify it for us.

The actual building is nice. The beds are worn out and you sleep on a slope because the mattress are so old and used. The restraunts are very limited in menu and actual taste. My best meal was when I went to PF Changs in mall. The prices are outrageous for the quality of food you get which is poor at best.

I knew the W in Barcelona in which I spent some 12 days but the W Muscat is another thing, at another level! The services and the care for you as a client is simply AMAZING! Everything was perfect and the staff was great, and here for me for each of my demands. Honestly, I spent great 8 days, and the W made my stay in Muscat unforgettable! Thank you to all the staff!
