Very nice overall: Service, breakfast and room condition. Was just a bit put off when we found another guest's socks on the floor by the bed (which means cleaning wasn't as thorough as I prefer) but otherwise nice and super convenient place to stay.

We booked the room with Hotels.com as advertised with a light evening meal with breakfast. The evening meal is only offered Monday - Thursday and the hotel had advised Hotels.com about this change. I was not advised of this change ! ? We were offered a sandwich instead!!! I had booked a business room with ocean views, however I was given a view of the rear car park

We would certainly recommend this hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the room was small but warm and well appointed and the location was excellent. The food at breakfast was beautiful and varied enough for every taste - as well as hot food and cereals, etc, there was always fresh bread, fresh fruit, home made fruit smoothies and gluten free options and everything was beautifully presented. The big bonus was the free “light” meal served in the evening, with home made soup, salads, pasta, bread and fruit. We only ate out once during our stay. We would certainly stay again.

Not as expected
Hotel was okay, not as good as previous stays at Thon hotels. Stayed two nights - both weekend nights. Part of the disappointment was caused by the fact it doesn't have a restaurant (they serve food on weekday evenings but it's not a restaurant that serves paid for food) and we paid more for a fjord view - the view wasn't really a view with paying for.

Fabulous choice of accommodation, this hotel is just beautiful. Decor is very modern, sparkling clean, comfortable and conveniently located. Supermarkets round the corner, airport bus stop, pretty much everything within walking distance. Staff are very pleasant and friendly. Highly recommend.

The room was incredibly clean, and staff were so friendly! The fireplace in the lounge was a great place to relax in the evenings. Breakfast in the morning was superb, so many options and so delicious! The location was perfect, as it was tucked away a bit so really quiet at night. Will definitely stay here again when we inevitably come back to Bergen.
