When a company isn’t flexible under the current environment it shows you what their ethos is. We booked the hotel and requested to cancel it less than 8 hours later but were denied. Some may say this should be an Expedia policy but actually all other hotels refunded our stay and it took the hotel management over two weeks to decide they weren’t going to refund our “stay.” Safe to say we will not be flexible in our decision not to stay at Hotel Josef in the future.

Stylish, cosy and well situated. Great hotel, and a kind staff. The breakfast options were a bit poor due to coronavirus, but the hotel is really great.

Charming boutique rooms
Situated just a short walk to Zurich’s town centre is boutique hotel Josef. Parking is available across the road and the staff were friendly and helpful despite a self check in surface. The room was clean and had all the normal amenities including a fantastic coffee pod machine. Only downside is the room was slightly on the small side although we had just enough a space.

I loved this hotel room close to airport . It was a pleasant surprise. I stayed on Thursday night and then came back through Zurich on Sunday night

There is no front desk and it is unclear you can check in from the machine in the Cafe. This is essentially a hotel extension of the sister property down the street. Need more service for luggage etc. Room itself is very nice, modern, clean. Great location.

Confusing Check-in
Hotel is very nice and functional but checkin was not clear. You have go to the restaurant and they have the self checkin there which was confusing. They need better instructions for the checkins.
