This hotel is SUPER close to the Capitol Building. Only negative was no real food on the site except the "gift shop" Other than that ALL was GREAT!

So, the lady at the recepetion desk was wearing a BLM mask. I dont care if it's a liberal city, leave your politics and support for a terrorist organization at home. Disgusting. Second, the 2 beds were NOT queens. I laid for a 2 queen room. That is misleading. Third, we picked this place because it had a restaurant. We didnt know it was closed until we got there.

It was wonderful! Hotel was clean and my dad loved it as well. Only thing I can say is that parking is quite expensive. So we used apps such as ParkWhiz, the next time we stayed here to same some money 🙃. Nonetheless, the hotels placement is extremely convenient to the National Mall. It is right in the heart of DC and isn't a bad price either. Will probably visit this hotel again in the future.

The hotel room itself was a bit dated. It could have used a new air conditioning unit, but the staff made the stay AMAZING. The treated us like guest at a 5-Star hotel. I was so unbelievably impressed with the staff that I will likely stay here again on my next visit to DC. Rita was the person I dealt with the most there and she was AMAZING. The security staff was amazing. The other two members of the staff I interacted with were amazing. Though I was said almost everything around the hotel, including the hotel restaurant, was all closed, these hotel staff members made up for it with the best hospitality I have ever experienced. Thank you all!

The lobby was pleasant but came downstairs in nighttime hrs found overnight staff sleeping did not witness any cleaning of common areas of hotel including elevators which was disappointing given covid. Asked for fresh towels never received them only good thing was location to metro
