Very good
Overall it was a good stay my only complaint was checking in, it took about 1/2 hour in line as there was only one person checking people in and there were a few people in line and one person was having issues so that took a while.

The facility is a bit outdated but the people there make it shine. My stay at this hotel is always very pleasant. If you compare the cost with the other hotels nearby, this is definitely the best deal what you get from what you pay.

Bathroom was a little dirty. There was a random dirty plate in the hall outside our room (not ours) at 8pm on a Saturday night and it was still there at noon the next day when we checked out. There must have been a preteen hockey tournament in town because there were tons of hockey kids around 10-13 running up and down the halls and yelling well beyond 2am the night we were there. No parents in sight. No one did anything. Wouldn’t stay there again. I’ve stayed at places that were cheaper than this and way nicer.

Almost a great stay
Almost the entire stay was great, staff was very good with one exception, the room was clean and comfortable, location good and check in and out was easy BUT; on Monday morning @ 4:39am the evacuation alarm sounded and again about 10 minutes after we returned to our room (around 5:15am) Then the flashing emergency light continued to flash for several hours after. Sleep was impossible That is not the problem (not that we were happy) as we understand problems can happen. But at no time through out this time did any staff assist, reassure or inform the guests staying at the hotel! This is not only unacceptable but very poor service and potentially a very dangerous situation as the guest really did not know what to do or what was going on. Some were in wheelchairs and scooters. The staff should be trained in emergency procedures at least once a year so this situation doesn’t occur. Feel free to contact us if you have any other questions.
