    The stay was ok considering covid restrictions. A couple negatives first the security deposit was over $250 a bit much also we were stuck in the elevator and compensation. Breakfast at Ihop is ridiculously over priced $70 for 2 people.

    Taxation without explanation
    The hotel is one we have stayed at before, but it’s been a while since we have been to Niagara Falls. The extra taxes are ridiculous. What should have been a $200 stay turned into $385 with all the extra taxes. Of course, this isn’t disclosed before you hand them your credit card. Gouging!! I do like the hotel itself, but their pillows suck.

    Disappointed
    In the past my husband and i have enjoyed our stay. However due to the Covid situation our room did not have a coffee maker or fridge. There was also no housekeeping service. To make matters worse, our tv did not get 5 stations and you couldn't hear it even when the volume was turned up full blast. Yet, we were still charged full price for the Saturday. No discount was offered even though 50% of the amenities offered were not available. Disappointing. We will definitely do a little more research when planning a trip to Niagara Falls in the future.

    Terrible experience.
    Our stay really was a terrible experience. I have stayed in a number of hotels and this was probably my worst experience. The room was old and very dusty like it had not been cleaned in a while. We had requested a fridge for our room at the time of our booking for our child’s baby food and milk but were denied a fridge when we arrived. They said they had no more fridges available and there was nothing they could do. The bed was half broken and both my wife and I woke up with aches and pains. This was intended to be a relaxing weekend but instead it was complete hassle and I wished we just weekend at home instead.

    Not impressed...
    The parking is either expensive ($50/day) if you part at the hotel, or inconvenient if you want a ‘reasonable’ price (across the street, few minutes walk). There was no information about the reservation system for the pool, so we were not able to use it and were disappointed because my 5 year old was excited about the pool. The customer service wasn’t very empathetic about the pool situation and told me,”well, you aren’t paying extra for the pool and it is ‘just‘ an amenity”. We chose the hotel because of the pool. Not impressed at all! Such information should be made clear ASAP. The blackout blinds were installed in such a way that they didn’t full close. There were also numerous stains on the carpet and couch. The bathroom was very nice and clean at least.

    What a Shame
    I’ve stayed at this hotel many times in the past and never had a problem. The service was always good and the rooms were nice and clean. Now they are using COVID as an excuse for poor service. Once we arrived to our room that was supposed to be enhanced clean as their website states it was not. You walk in and your greeted with the maintenance panel for the jacuzzi wide open you then see everything is coated in a layer of dust as well as hair around the room. Now I can look past a lot but when you tell me your going above regular cleaning and my room looks like this I question how this is enhanced cleaning. I then ask for it to be cleaned and I’m told no problem come back 3 hours later and nothing was done I call and the hotel says it was completed I ask they send someone again when the person arrives they said we did not clean it because of COVID and they only thing they will do is move us. I’m then offered a room with 2 beds on the bottom floor with no jacuzzi even though I paid more for the room I’m in. I then asked for cleaning supplies and said I’d do it myself. What do they bring a couple wet naps you would receive in a restaurant and a towel. I’m sorry I understand it’s COVID but you don’t treat your guest like that. After this experience and the complete lack of disrespect I would never stay at this hotel again. You can see by the pictures attached the dust was off the headboard the lights beside the bed the desk and the lights in the washroom absolutely disgusting.
