6/10 Good

Very good, but breakfast needs to be improved
Good location, very clean. Only issue is breakfast (which is included or can be bought for 5€) is just toast, cereal and cofffee. No eggs, cheese or meats. Since everyone staying here is starting out on the first leg of the Camino Santiago hike, a better more nutritious breakfast conducive to that task should be provided - even if it means charging ia higher price.

2/10 Poor

“PLEASE READ! The private room was nice. Sheets were clean, towel was provided. Although the blanket smelled like feet, overall the room was comfortable and had everything I needed. I found it to be worth the price and would have had a good experience. However, I VERY quickly forgot about anything positive at all.” I can say confidently that in 3 years of consistent global travel and over 300 hotel stays, this is by far the worst experience I have ever had with hotel staff. Before even checking in, the owner was extremely rude, but I figured I would stay anyways because I already made the booking. I did not see the owner again until the next morning, when he knocked on my private room door at 7:10, telling me verbatim: “check out is at 6:30, please check out, you have 5 minutes.” Since I was half asleep, all I said was “oh okay.” As I was frantically packing everything, he knocked exactly 5 minutes later and opened the door—which does NOT have a lock despite being a private room. I said, admittedly aggressively because I was quite frustrated “PLEASE give me 2 minutes.” He then responded “check out. I gave you five minutes. Check out,” kicking me out of my private room at 7:15 in the morning. He slammed the building door behind me as I left. I had to go to the local CAMPGROUND to brush my teeth and use the toilet and shower, and I had to even put my shoes on outside on the curb! All the while I was thinking, “what on earth did I do to upset this man?”

Okay for Camino
I think for a Camino hotel it was good. The single room was a bit pokey and no toilet
