This hotel was perfect for our girl’s weekend. It’s in the middle of everything and even has an elevator that takes you right to river street. We never had to drive anywhere since everything was within walking distance. The inside is very inviting with a bunch of plant filled balconies overlooking the lobby. This was a nice touch since we didn’t pay more for the river view room. Extremely clean and easy check in and out. Couldn’t really ask for a better hotel!
They did not have our room and said it was an up grade. My husband and I did not even sleep in the same bed because we were not given a king but 2 double beds. The front of the tub had mildew on it. The bathroom had no exhaust to speak of and the wall paper was beginning to peel on the corner. One of the 3 small elevators was being upgraded so it took forever to get upstairs or downstairs with luggage. It was a great location though.
This was an anniversary trip. We booked a king sized bed room but when we arrived they said they were overbooked so they moved us to a 2 full bed room. They give us free parking and $30 credit but the beds were not big enough for us to sleep together. Not to mention The paint was peeling off the ceiling.
We most certainly had one of the worst rooms In the house. 1/2 of the rooms in the hotel overlook a dark atrium. Even if you opened the drapes it was dark. Our room overlooked the elevator shaft, so we never pulled the drapes the entire stay. Hotel offered at check in (without us asking) to upgrade us to a room overlooking the River for an additional $50 per night. We didn’t accept. Our room was old, worn out, old bed and pillows and minimally clean. You go to this hotel for the location, not the hotel experience.
Great hotel. I enjoyed a river view and it was spectacular.
It was a nice hotel situated within walking distance of everything. There was a entrance to the hotel from the river front which was very convenient. Problem was that rooms were not very clean....especially carpet. The only choice was Valet parking at $38 per day. We stayed 4 nights. I feel that some discount should have been extended for parking.
Perfect hotel location. Short walk to everything downtown. Across the street from the parking garage which has much cheaper parking options than the hotel. Quick and easy check in. Everything was clean and safe.
Best stay in Savannah. This hotel is very dedicated to customer care and ensures a pleasant stay. The location is very convenient. Spot on!
The hotel staff was extremely professional and accommodating. They let us check in early and didn’t charge an early check in free. They sent me a text when our room was ready. The lobby area was beautiful. Will definitely stay here again if we ever make it back to Savannah.
The location adjacent to the River and Historical areas was great. Elevator renovation was in progress, that and Covid concerns really caused waiting issues. The windows aren't very sound proof, so a lot of street noise and bachlorette party noise in the late night caused some sleepless nights. Overall I would rate it good, especially location.
