We requested housekeeping once, during our week stay. They took our only trashcan and…
Hotel was very dirty. Paid almost $300 a night for a dirty room.

This is not a 4 star hotel
I have stayed at this resort 5 times over the past 4 years and have always had a great experience, this trip i was not happy with my experience. It was difficult to find chairs at the beach and at 1 point waited 2 hours for towels. The receptionist at the front desk screwed up our reservation and initialy shorted us a day and was tould it was our responsibility to fix it we called hotels.com and found it it was the hotels fault, that they deleted part of our reservation and the hotel never apologized for their mistake. We asked for toilet paper for our room at the front desk and was told someone woyld be right up and no one ever showed up.on our last night there are room key was turned off due to previous issue with reservation and once again no apology for their mistake. 1 of the only 2 elevators was broken for 2 days.
Don't be fooled by the pictures!!! This place is an overpriced dump. It was supposed to be a special treat for my birthday, which i qas willing ti pay extra for and it ended in total disappointment. I booked for an ocean view room and got a parkinglot view instead. Dirty all around, run down, shabby. The only thing I enjoyed and absolutely recommend is the Aqua Burlesque show at the hotel's Wreck Bar. It was spectacular!!!!
First we were checked in late which made us miss our valentines day dinner we had reservations for, second after the third day we realized our door never even locked because it was broken so anyone at anytime could of walked in and third we had no air condition for a day because it broke.
The beach is right out the side door of the hotel and was beautiful. Lounge chairs and beach towels provided by friendly attendants. The hotel room was quite dated with a well worn loveseat, no table and chairs as pictured. I asked specifically for a balcony room when I booked and didn’t receive one upon arrival. Because of Covid I had hoped to eat by room service only but was only able to get through on the phone once in 4 days despite multiple attempts each day. The one time I was able to get through, the food was very good. The “restaurant” that was open to the public was actually a kiosk with fresh selections of small snacks and beverages. Extremely pricey. I actually went next door to the Marriott which had a lovely juice bar that served fresh fruit, salads and sandwiches and was much less expensive. I did not use the pools as they were overcrowded. Overall, the resort needs upgrades and better food access but it was not terrible by any means. I would stay again simply for the private beach and the proximity to everything.
Overall the hotel it’s beautiful looking very modern. They did a fairly good job updating the hotel although somethings still need to be updated like that elevators, carpeting was old and dirty, etc. The first room we were in had a very loud rattling air conditioner so we had to be moved to another room. The pool area is very small and we could not find enough chairs and it was too crowded. Ivan, the bartender, Was amazing even as he was limping around the bar From an injury, he gave me excellent service!
Upon check in our selected room was not available. Overall the stay was nice and comfy. Peaceful. Would be nice if there was vending machines thru out.
It was nice with the beach but the pools are not very big and not a lot of room to hang out. The bathrooms were not cleaned well.
Room was heavily worn and needed an update. This once prestigious location is now more of a young trashy party stop. Loud. Unfortunate.
Really great except an explosion and fire alarm required us to evacuate a little early, before checkout, so we will probably ask for a small refund/credit
