HORRENDOUS!
Horrendous: Bed bugs Mould in shower Air con in room broken Rooms in awful condition Broken door security lock Food/drinks menu have no prices - enabling them to charge $50 for 4 beers and 2 starters. The staff are lovely and helpful and the location is very good but these positives are largely dwarfed by the above points.

Although the rating shows 5-star, It isn’t.
We were told that it is a 5-star resort. It certainly is not! Although they tried to make things work, it just wasn’t possible because the air conditioning did not work in any of the 3 rooms they put us in for starters. Maybe some day it will be, it is currently under construction (which we were not told by your reservation agent). The carpet in the hall and rooms are severely stained and it in no way lived up to our expectations of a 5-star property. Waldorf-Astoria, Ritz-Carlton, Four Season’s, Mandarin Oriental... those are 5-star resorts. This was not that. If they are comparing it to other properties close by, then say so. Don’t compare it to the best resorts in the world, it’s just not not an accurate depiction.

Tired rooms but excellent service!
The hotel is in need of some renovation in the rooms - as they are screaming late 80's. The rooms are tired, not to mention the brown bathrooms. The staff at this hotel are amazing though - they go out of their way to help, and are ALL exceptionally friendly - this ALMOST makes up for the old rooms. Breakfast was very good, with a wide selection of fresh fruit, hot breakfast items etc. Had dinner at the hotel every night - and again, the chefs offer incredible hospitality, and do what they can to accommodate you. It's worth mentioning that the wifi was VERY reliable and fast. Well done to the staff!

The standards at Rainbow Towers have plummeted. Without much attention Wear & tear has taken a toll on the structure. The TV was not working properly, it had a lot of showers. Some gadgets had no plugs and some plugs were not working
