The Jasper Inn & Suites was a great experience. Clean and quiet. The wood burning fireplace made it the perfect weekend!
Overall nice hotel Was very noisy and there was no parking. Had to park on the street
Clean, modest, decent place. Full of families on the weekend we went. Friendly front desk staff. Would recommend.
Awesome room! Like all the hotels in Jasper - very dated, but this one was a Gem! Didn't like the messages about the pipes freezing - fix your own HVAC system design flaws and let us use the balconies. How about glycol in your boiler???!!!
We booked a couple of rooms, the basic 2 bed double and the 1 bedroom suite queen. The basic 2 bed room needed to be updated. The 1 bedroom was nicely updated. Down side of the kitchen was it had the bare min. 4 forks, 1 dish cloth, etc, which means you are always washing as you are cooking. The pull out couch had the thinnest mattress, which we were glad no one had to sleep on. I appreciate how close we could park and unpack. I had to call the hotel a couple of times regarding questions and they were always helpful and polite. If you want to have a fire all night, bring your own wood. The main building with the basic room was nosier than the 1 bedroom location. We have stayed at many places in Jasper and I feel this place is a great value. Really love the kitchen bedroom suites.
Our stay in the loft kitchen suite was just what we needed during our stay in cOVID times where we could cook for ourselves without relying on restaurants. The only thing that would have made our stay more comfortable was having a fitted bottom sheet on the bed so the sheet would stay in place better. The bed itself was comfortable. The walls of the hotel are thin so if you end up with a noisy neighbour it could factor in as well.
The property is slightly older but relatively well maintained. I thought the suite was clean.
Clean. Well stocked kitchen. Was a bit hot at night and beds felt old. But we loved our stay and felt safe.
So this place is really dated both outside and inside, but do to the amenities it had including a fire place we thought we would give it a try. It states online and on the front of the building that the restaurant is open for dinner. It is not. The pools are closed along with everything else. They only give you one firelog(says last 2 hours. But was out in 45min)and do NOT sell wood on site. I’m not sure who in management thought that was a smart move to not offer wood, but your hotel is old and your rates are cheap why not make money on wood and not annoy people who expecting to get to have a fire? This was our 31st hotel stay this year and by far the least enjoyable. False advertising really bothers a customer. Stay somewhere that isn’t too lazy to cover their sign(it’s on a wagon they wouldn't even need a ladder) or change their online amenity offerings.
Friendly staff, rooms were clean. The standard rooms were extremely outdated so I upgraded to a queen suite and was very comfortable. The walls are a bit thin so you can hear your neighbours.
