Corazon Mexicano was a perfect option for our 3 day stay in Gto. Rooms are small but super clean with fresh linens. Booking with Monica was a breeze she was super nice and even extended our reservation without us knowing since she knew our arrival was at 6 am. Upon arriving a gentleman meet us about 1 block away to help us find the hotel. He then returned and back tracked the path because my wife lost her glasses. Paola and a second receptionist were amazing they helped me google places and even walked the small alleys to make sure it was where I wanted to go. Breakfast was good. Overall, I recommed this hotel the excellent service and cleanliness makes up for the size.

This hotel is higher on the hillside which affords a wonderful view of the city central. Breakfast and later evening respites sitting on the outdoor covered mirador were very relaxing overlooking the city hillside and listening to the church bells.

Beware of booking the single room.
Some of the rooms were probably good, I made the mistake of booking the "single". I had a small roller-board that fits within the size guidelines of the most restrictive airline and there was literally no place to put it! It barely fit in the only space left in the room, next to the bed. No closet, no hooks, no hangars, no luggage rack, no space under the bed since it was taken up by a trundle bed, even though the available space to pull out the trundle bed was less than two feet! I had to move the waste basket into the bathroom in order not to trip over it. The only light in the room was harsh and facing right into one of the ceiling beams so the room felt even more depressing and cell-like.The next room I stayed in (in San Miguel) was literally more than 10 times the size of this one!

Beautiful charming hotel. Breakfast was amazing and the view spectacular. Modern decor and very clean. You will need to be able to climb stairs to access this property. Can’t wait to return.

Loved the warm welcoming the the room comfort as well as the nice breakfast at the balcony with such of a nice view of the city. I really enjoyed very much staying at Corazón Mexicano, and would definitely come back. I look forward to bring my family in the future and stay there.
