This is a cool little place off the beaten path. Loved that the rooms were bigger than a normal hotel room and could accommodate our larger family. It’s a tad rustic, but room was clean and stocked with everything you would need.

Nice place close to skiing. Staff was very responsive. This is a self check in property and you’ll need your own toiletries. Checks all the boxes for a comfortable convenient place in Ellicottville.

The room was a little pricey for what it was. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. I thought it was weird that the bathroom sink was in the main room and not in the bathroom, I know it’s hard to change things structurally but maybe lower the room price. And there was no trash can in the room.

The room was perfect for a single person - a couple things could be improved like the shower hot and cold handles - they were very lose - you had to push the hot handle into the shower stall to make it work. Rings on the shower curtain were missing- would have been nice to have paper towels in the room not a big thing as I just went to the grocery store and bought some. Overall nice property

A little warm in Timberline Lodge

Room/site location was ideal for our visit. Room was clean, one issue with entering was that I never received an email with the room access code. Booked through Hotels.com so not sure where the ball was dropped; at least there was a phone # to call and code was provided. Temperature control of the room was non-existent. Had to have a window open (glad it was October because no screen on the window) and the fan running all night. Room temp equalized at 76/77. Found no way to turn the temp down. Room was comfy other than the temp.

This is an OK place for one night. We heard much noice from another room from people who woke us up in the middle of the night, upon arrival. We could hear two women talking and laughing loudly. Perhaps some sound proofing would help. The shower was small and the shower head was at odd angle that was uncomfortable to shower with. We ended up purchasing toilet paper as the roll our room had was dangerously low, and there was no extra toilet paper readily available in the room. After contacting management, an extra roll was delivered to our room and placed outside the door.

This review is about Suite 103. We booked it for 4 adults. It had 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Check-in was easy: a code was sent to us via text to unlock the keypad. But it was all downhill from there. Beds were terribly uncomfortable. Bedrooms did not have a dresser or closet! Nor was there a place to put an open suitcase except on the floor. Bathroom was large but was a lot of empty space; it had only a small vanity and small dimly-lit shower. No towel bars, hooks, shelves. Towels were old and were stacked on a stool.

My wife and I enjoyed the room we stayed in. It was large and nice clean. We enjoyed having plenty of space to sit. Only downside is no towel holders in the bathroom. The lodge is walking distance from everything in downtown Ellicottville.

Glad to Have Found You!

Great on all accounts, except one thing... The under-powered window air conditioner. It got pretty uncomfortable. Granted , the humidity last night was extremely high. But, hoping they can figure out the AC situation. Even still, we would come back for sure, and recommended to our friends.
