2/10 Poor

First room the tv didn’t work and there wasn’t a microwave second room those were fine but room had a wet dog smell Won’t be staying again
John, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Terrible service and dirty rooms

Terrible service and attitude from the property manager, we can to a dirty room bugs everywhere, the tub was filthy and the sheets were stained. We asked for another room and he said they were booked so we asked if there was a way to clean it and he said he didn’t get paid for that. We found another place to stay but I would never book with this place again

This could be a nice hotel unfortunately its newly bought and i dont know what is happening but there's next to no staff we stayed eight days at first it was nice but we asked for sheets never got new ones. Had to beg for towels the room had a weird smell in the bathroom like a backed up sewer they were paving the driveway and it smelled horrible. The owner was yelling about keeping the room clean ugh this is a hotel room not an air bnb and apparently theres no maid staff except this guy and his wife we were planning on staying another week but canceled

The only good aspect of this establishment was that I didnt find any bedbugs when I checked the bed. A used and dirty washcloth in the bathtub. Trash not emptied. No employee on site, had to call to get to someone to check me in. The pool had no water, not that I would have trusted it if it had. The bathroom had the mirror(assuming it was a mirror) removed and no effort was made to repair the mess. I had no reason to test the interent. The positives-a small tv did have cable & the air conditioning worked. The place, in my opinion, should be razed and owners should try again because they have failed miserably with the current iteration.

I didn't get what I paid for, and the hotel was only trying to push our family out the door faster so they could resell our room to some other poor soul. I'm a regular at Williamsburg, and this is the type of hotel that's killing the Williamsburg economy. Due to the attitude, if I didn't have business, I would never return based on attitude alone

The property is very run down and dirty. There was all kinds of misc junk laying around the walkway to all the rooms, like the walkway is a storage area. The pool wasn’t filled. The rooms were dirty so my kids and I slept on top of the bedsheets with our own blankets. I’m not sure about the food options as we left without even trying to find out.

Not the booking photo of the room

The room was booked once I looked at the photos of the room . The room in the photos was not the room I got . The room I got had bug traps no ice bucket no refrigerator. No signage showing and local numbers or WiFI password . When you call the front desk it just rang and rang. Hot water knob on the shower would not turn off . AC vents were broke so it just blew straight up . Bedspread on one bed was full of holes pillows were cheaply made like trying to use a brick for a pillow . All in all the room was horrible.

Being remodeled. My room had a bad smell that never went away. Killed 3 roaches the day I left. The bed was very comfortable. Basic essentials. No Kleenex. Small TV on Vizio. None of the furniture matched. Cancelled our reservation for the room on our way home. Furniture and construction stuff all over the place.

8/10 Very good

A young couple are in the process of refurbishing the rooms. They have everything you need for your stay. The king size bed in my room is was so comfortable. Since the buildings are so sturdy, the outside noises could not be heard

There was mold on the ac unit and the ceiling g perimeter. The bedding was stained and it smelled. The bathtub was stained and dirty. We checked out an hour after we checked in, I filed a claim with Expedia but have yet to hear back.

What I liked about the property was the price. I was not looking for a fancy hotel. What I did not like was the lack of a clean room, in particular in the bathroom. I actually took a washcloth and soap to clean the tip which was filthy. I will likely not go there again.

Lousy service. Never had a dirtier motel. Far from

Lousy service. Never in my 70+ yrs have I had such an awful stay. Weeds out front near sign that said under new mgt. Poor paving. Looks neglected like no one cares which turns out to be true. Tv NOT hooked up and no radio. Stained towels. Had to clean tub, toilet and sink myself. Actually had the nerve to put me in a FILTHY ROOM. No phone. No food nearby. Had to walk for 20 min. to a convenience store. Lucky for me there was a pleasant young man who APPRECIATED my business at the convenience store. Thank God there was some human kindness from him. People at motel(owners I guess????) appeared to not care whether you were there or not. Seemed to enjoy giving American people the brush off. Not even cool! Veterans and senior citizens are treated with disdain. Should be reported to BBB local health compliance investigative authority. Soooooo disappointed that VA allows such irresponsible humans to have a business like they do. Probably owe taxes and maybe owe Money to local businesses.

Was there from Friday night till Tuesday morning they only gave me half a roll of toilet paper for the entire length of the stay they also did not give me any soap or shampoo like they mentioned on the website when booking. They also did not come in at all to clean or make the bed the entire stay. The bed is nice and at least comfortable so that was at least a plus but the air conditioner is very loud and buzzes a lot so I had to sleep with earplugs in to avoid getting a headache the entire time. It’s pretty much fend for yourself. Make sure you bring toilet paper for yourself because you’re not gonna get it. All they gave me was half a roll and some towels for the bathroom.

NOT handicap accessible in ANY way.

Not at all handicap accessible. Nonsmoking room reeked of smoke and bed linens had burn holes. Room under construction and not finished. Lights missing. Hotel staff unavailable at night. They wanted to charge a dollar for a second room key. Two sets of towels for 4 people. No breakfast offered. No parking spaces available in the immediate area, as there were piles of construction materials in several parking spots. Hotel employee (manager) became agitated and called police when my wife grazed his monster truck (no scratches or dents, just clearcoat). This should have been settled amicably with an information exchange. My recommendation is to AVOID this motel at all costs.

Quick night stay

Hotel was under renovation in some rooms, our room had broken towel bar, light was uncovered with exposed wire over vanity sink, comforter and sheets had holes in them. Thank God it was just myself and husband and we were only there for a cheap quick stay, if not I would have booked else where. I don't understand how Hotels.com can advertise a place like this and feel good about it. They should have closed hotel until renovations were completed. That being said; hotel was i a great location for what we needed to do. Quick to get to where we needed to go.

4/10 Fair

They had just replaced TVs w/ flat screens and TV service itself was great. Same impression as with other VA motel stays - it's a room. Water pressure was fine and the room had been made up perfectly beforehand. I just wish that these sort of places had enough traffic in order for them to afford the throw out their upholstered items so that smells can be adequately eliminated.

2/10 Poor

We will never stay here again. The room was very dirty. We saw roaches in the bathroom and on the bed.

8/10 Very good

Inexpensive for basic accomodations. Sleep/shower.

For what our needs were, this was a fine room. We were just staying the night while visiting with our daughter at school. We were using the room for sleeping and showering. The shower was quite narrow, making it a bit tight for my husband. But it was clean. The beds were comfortable, though the flat sheet was rather thin. On the bright side, it was quite soft.
