6/10 Good

Great location near campus. The hotel is just older and could use a rehab. But the price was great!

8/10 Very good

I stayed here while on a pheasant hunt. I was there to sleep and get up to hunt, so it served its purpose and that’s all I can ask for. I will be staying here again next year.
TOMMY, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

They are renovating - what is completed is really nice so it will be excellent soon but for now some things are a little dated. Our room was clean and spacious and the facility is right next to the dome so conveniently located for university events. Staff was really nice and welcoming. Would stay here again.
Catherine, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

after seeing reviews about the bed bugs and seeing the hotel I let my reservation go and took the loss because I didn't feel safe there.
Frankie, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

Run down - lots of chipping paint, the towel racks were rusting. Breakfast options were lacking - no juice, just water or coffee. I don't know that I'd stay here again.

8/10 Very good

Only 2 towels in the double room
Violet, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Showed its age. Few outlets and no USB outlets. Breakfast minimal. Manager burned insence with her morning prayers, but no smell in rooms. Clean, but minimal: one face cloth, thin towels. Good mattress and pillows. Reasonable valuee.
David, 2-night trip

The stuff didnt ask me how many pets we had. So, there was an unexpected 2nd pet fee when we got there. There was trash under the beds including an old shirt. The door to the room was broken, so we only had the deadbolt and not the extra security lock. I wont be staying here again.
Kim, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

lacking

My room was dark and dindgy. Lights were burned out. Breakfast was lacking, Common area was messed up. Every thing was outdated, like the bead spreads looked 20 years old. Needs a total renovation.
Robert, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

It was as expected; clean, comfortable simplicity. We wanted a clean, comfortable, stress free place to refresh, unwind, and get a good night sleep, and that’s exactly what we got here. We spent 5 nights here and have no complaints. Towels, bedding and toiletries were provided and replenished as needed. A free breakfast bar of cereal, bread/bagels, baked goods, juice, tea/coffee was available each morning. It appears to be family run. We only saw 3 people working there during our stay, working the front desk, breakfast bar, doing the laundry, housekeeping, and property care in/outside. They were friendly & hard working. Some of the negative reviews seem like the guests were rating it against a five star resort. If that’s what the comparison was, then their review is understandable, though not fair to the proprietor. For reviewers whose expectations were in line with the hotel rating and had a sub-par experience, that is unfortunate and understandably disappointing. My review is based on a 5-night stay in July 2022; other reviews are based on longer or shorter stays on a variety of different dates. Take it for what it is…only a snapshot of the 365 days/year that this business operates and provides services.
Angela, 5-night trip

2/10 Poor

The carpet was stained. There were cob webs in the corners. The shower curtain was yellowing. The hvac unit was moldy. The window did not lock. The blankets were scratchy. The sheets were dirty. The front desk attendant was gone. My neighbors were loud. There was vape smoke wafting out into the hallway. The breakfast was gross.
Sherry, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Clean but extremely frugal amenities

The bed was comfortable. The mattress was clean, but the box spring cover looked old and soiled. The blanket was old and worn. The pillows not the greatest. The coffee maker was placed high up in a closet and there was no coffee or cups. There was just one chair in the room. No paper or pen. No phone. Only one half-dollar size soap. One tiny tube of shampoo. Only one roll of toilet paper—no backup roll. One washcloth. Breakfast was cereal or a few pieces of pastry. The hotel had sufficient parking. It appeared to be owned or operated by people from India.
Barbara, 2-night trip

Beds were hard
Joel, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Average room with easy check in and check out.
Robyn, 1-night trip

Nice for a less expensive hotel. Nothing fancy but clean, good breakfast.
Steven, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Very clean and quiet area. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Nice, newly renovated bathroom. Great downtown area with fun shops and lots of food choices.
Jackie, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

I waited in the lobby for an hour to check in. When I finally got checked in, she refused to give me a receipt, told me to get one from Expedia. There was no elevator, I had to carry all my bags up two flight of stairs. The property was old and rundown.
Amber, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

The hotel offered good value for money. Some areas such as stair carpets are a little worse for wear and the breakfast could be improved but it was certainly worth the money
Robert Lloyd, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Die Bettwanzen machen die Nächte zu einem Erlebnis. Wer nicht gerne allein schläft, hat hier Gesellschaft.
Sebastian, 12-night trip

2/10 Poor

Filthy and the bed sheets were gross. Water stained ceilings and the bathroom smells sewage gas. The rooms were dark with poor lighting and dark. Too tired and it was last minute booking with no refund.
duran, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

For the price it was a clean hotel.
