Hotels Near Tehri Dam

"While we had an enjoyable holiday with the family, the hotel is lousy. The AC was not working and I have asked for a 50% refund for my room which they agreed to, although I doubt any will come back. There was water logging in the bathroom and one needs to switch on the geyser else you will not get hot water. Parking is also a nightmare. The options are limited so one has little choice but to accept sub standard service. Price is reasonable. "

"Very well-maintained heritage property at Kanatal. Nice rooms, I had an open terrace with a seating area that was my work station. The only issue was WiFi was not accessible in the rooms properly. These small improvements can make this property even better."

"Beautiful! Clean and friendly staff! "

"This is the unique property and everybody should visit once in a life"

"Our stay at The Mountilla,Kanatal was nothing short of refreshing and memorable. Surrounded by serene mountains and breathtaking views, the resort offers the perfect escape from the city’s chaos. The calm atmosphere, crisp mountain air, and stunning sunsets instantly set the tone for a relaxing getaway. The rooms were clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed to make the stay comfortable, with beautiful views that made waking up each morning extra special. The staff deserves a special...

"Our stay at Tehri Retreat by Himalayan Eco Lodges was nothing short of magical. If you’re craving serenity, waking up to the perfect sunrise over the mountains, surrounded by the soothing sounds of chirping birds, and enveloped in lush greenery—this is the place to be. The cottages offer a peaceful retreat, with exceptional staff who made us feel right at home. "Serene, calm and cool atmosphere in the lap of the nature. However some more facilities may be added to make it more attractive."

"This is a well maintained property with limited (8 rooms) capacity. Staff is very helpful and prompt in service. The surroundings of this property are serene and beautiful. It's peaceful in and around. The only improvement I think can be made in some common area development for residing guests (dining area and some recreational area) and food options in breakfast. I would rate in-house food 4/5. It has Amala Cafe nearby which also serves good food options. Auli cafe on the way from Chamba is...

"We were the only guests in the hotel the staff took good care of us. Hotel is a little uphill walk so not really great for seniors. The parking in on the street. "

"Room, view, restaurant everything was great. Staff was very helpful. The only problem was that the lift was not ready and there were like 3 floors you had to go up and down. Kids room was great. Enough to be keep kids busy. Few things in other common area like foosball table was not working, rest table tennis, pool, carrom, ludo, those were fine. The roof top.view was great with enough space for everyone to sit. You can enjoy a nice sunset from there. Also, a maggi point with in few metres"

"Good place to stay."

"You need to trek to reach the property. Good for youngsters looking for solitude, for age 45 it will be very difficult to reach the property. Vehicle will be parked uphill. "
