Marine Life Park Hotels

With its white man-made beaches, theme park, and endless attractions, the resort island of Sentosa lures in around 20 million excitable visitors each year. One of its premier attractions is the Marine Life Park, a sprawling 8-hectare complex, which consists of the S.E.A Aquarium and the action-packed Adventure Cove Waterpark. Swimming with more than 100,000 marine creatures housed within themed environments, the aquarium takes you from the freshwater lakes of East Africa, to the Persian Gulf and Arabian Sea.

Things to see

The Marine Life Park’s centrepiece is the colossal Open Ocean tank, one of the largest of its kind in the world. Though a vast 118-foot wide and 27-foot tall viewing panel, visitors can gaze at an array of creatures, from gentle manta rays and mysterious leopard sharks, to sparkling shoals of fish. Another highlight is the Shark Seas exhibit, which features a clear walk-through tunnel, where fearsome sharks glide overhead.

If Singapore’s climate leaves you needing to cool off, then the neighbouring Adventure Cove Waterpark is the place to do it. Here you can zip down 7 thrilling slides, snorkel with tropical fish through a colourful reef, or take it easy on the 620-metre lazy river. Back on dry land, Universal Studios Singapore is Sentosa’s star attraction. Packed with adrenaline rides, dazzling shows, and themed areas, the park drops you right into your favourite blockbusters – from Transformers to Jurassic Park.
