"An absolute gem of a hotel right in the heart of the "old town" area near Kloof Street. Beautiful colonial style design with fantastic local artwork throughout, amazing (cool) pool, honesty bar, secure on street parking (security watchmen at all times) and the most amazing helpful staff I've ever had at a hotel - emails and information on things to do, restaurants etc was outstanding. A really brilliant hotel in every way!"

The waterfront itself is absolutely gorgeous, with beautiful views and a lively atmosphere. We especially enjoyed the nice walking path leading to the waterfront, which made getting there both convenient and enjoyable. "Great gym, breakfast. Only downside is that bathroom is a bit small. The area is not the very best so definitely count on using uber. Overall a solid choice especially considering the price."

"Wonderful staff! Incredible view of Table Mountain from the roof terrace. Carpets in rooms in warm climate is not great for allergies. Pool a bit unclear. Missing the magic."

Lungi was so very helpful in organizing our pickup and transportation from the airport, and also booking tours for us while in Cape Town. Arthur was there to greet us on our arrival, and each evening when we returned. Chef Ian and his staff in the kitchen had a wonderful breakfast for us each morning. Would definitely stay here again!"

"The Southern Sun Cullinan is a beautiful hotel in a great location. They also have a hotel shuttle every hour to take you to the V & A shopping centre. The breakfast is lovely and the staff are very helpful."
