"From the time we arrived, we found check in so easy and Bethany was really pleasant and helpful. Our room was clean and well equipped. Bed was comfortable. We were put in a quiet room, as there is a music venue nearby, and didn't find any problem with any noise outside. We loved the free croisants and lovely coffees. The staff throughout our stay were all pleasant had help, and checking out, again was dealt with by a lovely young lady (don't know her name) was really easy. I would not hesitate...

"Absolutely beautiful room and bathroom. Tiny issue was it was a little chilly and we couldn’t get it to warm up. The manager did his best to help as it was late when we realised. However we were superbly cosy under the duvet and blanket anyway! The location was spot on. Beautiful area. The self check in was easy. Would be great to hire a few rooms and then use the kitchen and cellar room downstairs for group socialising. Thoroughly recommend. "

"Nice hotel near city centre, nearby parking is in train station multi story car park £8 weekends but it’s a 10 minute walk away from hotel. Hotel has bar, restaurant, rooms and bathrooms are spacious. Near to shops, bars and restaurants, Nottingham Castle is about 15-20 minute walk. Would stay again if in the area."

"Really lovely stay in Torchon. Perfect space for a couples getaway. Surprisingly well soundproofed. Nextdoor bar could be heard but not invasive at all. Slight downer was an issue with a leaking pipe causing the water and electricity to fail Sunday morning. Very impressive recovery! A large team were onsite immediately fixing the problem. Only a minor inconvenience that could have been much worse. Lovely room, comfy and everything we needed. Highly recommend "

Shower head was slightly on one side but not a major issue as you were able to lift it and it was perfect. Overall a good hotel and would stay again. "

"Excellent location. The private double room was exactly as pictured which was great. The only drawback was that the wifi in the secondary building where I was staying wasn’t working at the moment but in all fairness the router probably just needed resetting and I didn’t ask for that (just used the wifi in the main building which was great). Would definitely stay here again. "
