Things to see

Seminyak Beach is a long stretch of golden sand and clear blue seas. It's a popular spot for surfing, and in the early hours you'll often see beginners taking their first tentative rides on the waves. Hire an umbrella or lounger and you can grab a spot on the sand before it gets busy, or find someone hiring out snorkelling equipment for the best underwater views. Along the beachfront you'll find lots of bars selling cocktails and bottled water, and at night you'll find people enjoying a few drinks on the lantern lit beach. Double Six Beach to the south is also a lively spot, and during the day you'll spot people riding horses, taking boats out to scuba dive, and playing volleyball on the beach. There are a few beach clubs set along the golden sands, where you can enjoy lunch or dinner on the terrace overlooking the sea, or can grab a drink and sit on the sands at night.
