The hotel is well-situated near some quaint coffee shops & sarabat shops with authentic Malaysian food. 😋😋 There’re stalls which open at night too. The hotel staff are all cheery & very helpful. I had called Housekeeping for an extra firm pillow & it was delivered in less than 10 minutes. 💫 Breakfast is also excellent with a wide variety & it is of good quality as well. The laksa is a must-try!! ❤️‍🔥 All in all, a wonderful stay here!! 🤩Highly recommended!! 💞

We had a very pleasant stay from the beginning to end. Absolutely polite service from the staff and good attention to details, like turning the sheets over at night and small favours to make one smile. Rooms were huge and the place was clean and comfortable.

Great location and very clean apartment! My in-laws and all the kids love the place and asked when can we go back again! Host was very attentive and really went out of his way to ensure our stay was an enjoyable one. Is definitely one of our top choice for accommodation in Malacca!

The pool is very family friendly and awesome for kids. The location is very accessible to many tourist attractions and the historic Dutch Square, Christ Church Melaka and Little India. Breakfast was ok, and runs out fast.

The property and service exceeded my expectations. The only shock and disappointment was how a hotel could get permission to gut the interiors of several historic, heritage buildings in a conservation zone in a city with Unesco world heritage site status. Very sad.

The stay was fantastic Staff are friendly, I'm talking about the whole team, not any particular. It's just let us feel so great with their polite additue, fell so welcome throughout the stay. When questions asked , they will do their best to help . I will definitely come back again when I'm back to Malacca

It has been a pleasant experience to have stayed in your small but beautiful boutique hotel with a excellent location accessible to most of the attractions in town . Once stepping in the lobby , we were greeted warmly by your front office staff , Omar who is courteous , helpful and efficient in providing us with the details about what we want to know about the uniqueness of the hotel . Through conversation with him during our short stay, we found him to be a committed, cheerful and happy...

The showers were linking for our rooms 1644 & 1645 and replaced almost immediately . The prompt service deserves the praises . The receptionists are very polite too !

Hotel is converted from old Paranakan house, very beautiful. Surprisingly the room was quiet and soundproof, I expected it could be noisy but it wasn’t. Bathroom was very big and clean, room and bad were clean, only the carpet is due for change. Hotel provide free parking slot. counter staff was helpful and courteous. Will stay again if back to Malacca.

New premises .. room was reasonably clean. However we could see that the property is new with on going renovations etc

Must choose the room inner to avoid motor cycle noise Price is good

My family and I were here exactly same period in 2019. In 2025 I chose back the same place. The deco, cleanliness and warm friendly staff - really enhance the experience! Thank you for the hospitality! No doubt if I am back, Obama House will denitely be my go-to accommodation! To also add on, when I checked in the evening, it was pouring. The warm friendly staff stayed after their hours to guide us on the parking
