Standing proud at a dizzying height of 1,454 feet, the Art Deco tower is home to two observation decks: an open-air one on the 86th floor, and an indoor one on the 102nd floor – both of which offer breath-taking views. On the 80th floor you’ll find the Dare to Dream exhibit, a fascinating display that details the Empire State Building’s history and construction. No visit to New York is complete without a visit to Times Square. Colourfully clad in giant glowing adverts, the famous intersection is home to numerous mega-sized stores, and bustles with fast-paced pedestrians and honking traffic.

How to get to Madison Square Garden

Serving destinations all around the world, John F. Kennedy International Airport is New York’s primary gateway. Situated in Queens, around 17 miles from Madison Square Garden, getting from the airport to your accommodation should be relatively hassle free. Taxis are the preferable way to go, though the city’s subway network is the cheapest method, and is easily connected to via the airport’s AirTrain. The journey into Manhattan’s core takes around an hour, and if you’re headed to Madison Square Garden then Penn Station (conveniently located just under the arena) will be your stop.
