When the sun goes down, don't overlook Sunshine Beach to the east of Noosa Heads. In addition to the local lifesaver's club, there are also several restaurants and bars where you can take in views of the surf.

Music festivals in Noosa

 

Noosa has a handful of yearly culture and music festivals. The Noosa Jazz Festival occurs during the 1st weekend of September, drawing in some of Australia's best live talent and set against the backdrop of the Noosa River. The Noosa Long Weekend Festival is a cultural extravaganza that takes place over 2 weeks in July. Expect an assortment of music, dance, theatre, literature, food, and visual arts.
