China Town Hotels

The Chinatown area of Bangkok is bursting with colour, and as you weave your way between people on the busy pavements it feels as if every inch of the skyline is filled with glowing signs and billboards in Chinese. It's a popular spot for markets, with fragrant streets full of stalls selling spices and exotic Chinese ingredients, as well as being a great place to eat and drink whether it's served on a plastic table by the side of the road, in a grand, wood panelled tea room, or in a modern dining room inside a hotel.

How to get to China Town

Suvarnabhumi Airport, also known as Bangkok International, has regular flights arriving from major airports around the world, as well as domestic destinations. There are licensed taxis available, with the journey taking about half an hour, or you can take the regular Airport Rail Link to Phetchaburi, then change for Hualamphong station which is about a 10 minute walk from Chinatown. Since Chinatown is close to the river, it's also easily reached by the Chao Phraya River Express, a quick and cheap way of getting around that city that avoids the congested roads.
