Great hotel - our expectations were met for this mid-range hotel in terms of location, standard of rooms, amenities and service from the staff. The reception was most helpful in organising our transport to and from Kalibo airport and were very responsive to any ongoing requests. The restaurant and breakfast was lovely and we had many meals in the terrific spot that it occupied on the beach. My only quibble is that there are not many sunbeds on the beach and people come down as early as 6/7am to put their towels down which means that you have to wander up the beach to find another sunbed. We mentioned this to the staff and apparently they reserved sunbeds for us on the last day but didn't tell us until we arrived at breakfast and it was too late! The good intention was there so we appreciated the gesture.

It is located at station 1 (where majority of the 4-5 stars hotels). The hotel provides shuttle service every half an hour to DMall. You can request to stop anywhere along the way to D'mall but there is only 1 pick up location (D'mall). The private beach has a horse that you can ride for 700 peso for an hour.
"Nice place but shame about the food"

A nice little hotel. The only real complaint is that the food was not good. A real shame because you are forced to take a 20 min ride into town for all your food when we really just wanted to eat in the hotel and admire the view. After 4 days we couldn't really stomach the breakfast any more.

The location is as good as it gets on Boracay. Hotel is right on the beach front near where everything is. The hotel facilities is extensive and you can stay entirely on the premise if you so choose. Note that electrical power supply is not always avail on Boracay but the hotel has its own generators to ensure power 24/7. Will stay again!

While staying at the Tides, we met an unfortunate event of having to extend our stay till the the Typhoon. The staff were very hospitable and very very friendly. I believe they have made the Borocay experience so much better despite the Typhoon. so thank you :) The location is really great too. Near to the mall, we had access to the mart and we were near to the beach front and pubs too. Great place to stay!
