Amazing place, very convenient location close to the airport, incredible SPA (a bit expensive, though), where we had an incredible massage. Free wireless everywhere (so also my teenager boys didn't get annoyed at all...) Very cheap restaurants just outside the hotel. We asked for a room in the M block and it was very spacious and particular (in a very good way!). The breakfast offers a really huge variety of food. Private access to the beach (very nice as well - you can take very long walk ). We'll definitely return there!!!
"Neighborhood lacking in food choices"

The hotel layout was good, room well maintained and staff provided a high level of warm service. Breakfast selection was satisfactory and food tasty especially the Thai food. Only problem was the immediate neighbouring village did not have much food variety for local food. The Thai food at the village was OK, nothing to shout about and expensive.

The hotel was apartments with hotel service and feel. Great big rooms with everything you need. The service offering was extensive and great, but it took ages for things to happen. Roomservice was 1hr +. It is a huuuuge estate with all you basically need, but far from any nie beach or city centre. I was there for a wedding, so big group and lot's of fun, but would probably choose something closer to beach and city centre. Probably great fro Family or romatic getaways. I would sum up to say great value for money, but to far out.
"Fantastic Location - need to improve maintenance"

Loved the beachfront pool upgrade we received.
Fantastic location and beautiful beach.
It was expensive but we enjoyed our stay.
Service generally good and very cheerful.
Breakfast was very good and the young waiters were very bright and cheerful.
We tried all three restaurants on site but only the poolside one was worth going back to.
Other Negatives: No bell-boy available to take our luggage to the room when we arrived.
Rooms need more maintenance - our pool was rather green, the lights on the steps down to the pool did not work and the sliding door to our patio kept getting stuck. The flyscreen door to the room almost fell apart.
It took more than one request to get the pool cleaned and the lights fixed.
Toiletries not replenished (a half used botttle of body lotion was there when we arrived)
At these 5 star prices, better maintenance and service response is expected.
It is located a bit remote from other areas but we had hired a car so that was not a problem for us.
Lovely beach and usually safe for swimming.
Our private pool overlooking the beach was wonderful!

Lovely location right on the beach. Did not use the pool very much as it did not look very clean. I guess its hard for the staff to clean it as people come straight from oily massage and jump in without showering. Really good restaurant Fino with very friendly staff and kids eat for free. Had it not been for our friend who opted to try different places, we would like last year have eaten there every day. Do avoid restaurant Sugar Cane opposite hotel - a real tourist trap, meals are probably all frozen and microwaved, kids meals so small that they would not even feed a baby. So disgusted with the service, all meals came randomly, one child served another not. Not worth it when having to pay for kids meals that are so small that they would need 3 or 4 meals to be full. Make use of Fino and for lunch go to la Tasca.(their dinner buffet for kids is not good, but meals are great). Roomwise we stayed in a Royal Family suite with a full minibar included, which is really worth the money as the unit is closer to the beach than the ordinary rooms.

We find this place very relaxing especially good for family spending time together with one another. The only thing if you wish to stay this place, you must rent a car to move around. It will not be convenient if you don't have a car though the management there provides transportation which I think must be paid for. We like the privacy of the villa. Everything is like what you see in their website. But I would like to feedback that the villa we stayed has no DVD player and no TV in the bedrooms though the website did state all villas do have. We were quite disappointed as we could not watch our own movies. Overall, a good stay with lots of privacy and will definitely recommend friends there.
